Having developed the site, Broadview received planning approval for the three turbine wind farm by Aberdeenshire Council in April 2008. Construction, managed by Broadview, began in July 2009 with the site becoming fully operational during February 2010.
Broadview owned and managed the operational asset for just over two years before selling it to Infinis Wind Holdings Limited in May 2012.
