Low Spinney

The Low Spinney wind farm is situated on working farm land between the villages of Ashby Magna, Gilmorton and Dunton Bassett, near Lutterworth in Leicestershire. The proposal received planning approval in late Spring 2010 and construction commenced in October of the same year. The four REpower wind turbines went into operation generating clean renewable energy in September 2011 and are expected to generate enough electricity to meet the annual needs of 5,000 households in the region.
